On the occasion of her exhibition "Comme si" (11 May - 21 August 2022), Annette Messager offers an intimate and singular artist's book. Her texts - aphorisms, fragments, memories, extracts, reproductions and assemblages - are mixed with her line drawings and unpublished watercolours from the "Tête à tête" series, which extend her notes.

 

On the occasion of her exhibition "Comme si" (11 May - 21 August 2022), Annette Messager offers an intimate and singular artist's book. Her texts - aphorisms, fragments, memories, extracts, reproductions and assemblages - are mixed with her line drawings and unpublished watercolours from the "Tête à tête" series, which extend her notes.

The book is thus made up of three parts: on the one hand, the line drawings and texts by Annette Messager which form the main body of the book, and on the other, a notebook of ink drawings by the artist from the "tête à tête" series.

At the end of the book, as a surprise, an envelope contains an additional booklet dedicated to Annette Messager's exhibition at LaM.
