Synesthesia

The exhibition features a range of editions on paper and several small volumes. The selection of artists is intended to be not exhaustive but representative of Dilecta's editorial line. In this exhibition of multiples, some of Martine Aballéa's photographs give an insight into the fictional world of this artist of the 'verisimilitude. Jean Gfeller is also featured, with paintings on colored canvas and black-and-white woodcuts. Born in Switzerland in 1996 and now living in France, Gfeller's work is reminiscent of Expressionism and inspired by the work of Francis Bacon. He is showing several original and multiple works to provide a parallel between his different productions, which are all part of the same mode of expression. The exhibition focuses on the dialogue between an artist's creations and their distribution by a publishing house.
