Oscar Lefebvre

Oscar Lefebvre, born in 1997 in Saint-Maurice (France), recently graduated from the Beaux-Arts de Nantes (France). His greenish paintings are the consequences of his mind mulling over personal images. Dazzling halos from fireworks, ruined houses, chandeliers or other singular objects appear as traces of a decaying but fascinating world. These subjects, oscillating between landscapes and still lives, seem to enlighten moments of uncertainty, as if the observed situations were on the verge of either catastrophe or fading away.
