In the series Fungi, Dove Allouche refocuses his work on the living. He for this reason uses spore dangerous to people in this piece. He collects samples from different museums and places them in a culture to observe their growth. At this moments in their develop, he photographed them, and reproduced the image according to different printing processes. For the series for Dilecta, the artist presents a series of 45 of the cultures, in a box.

Born in Paris in 1972, Dove Allouche has a diploma from the National School of Art in Cergy and was previously a boarder at Villa Medicis in Rome from 2011-2012. For his last work, he collaborated with the CRCC (Centre de recherche sur la conversation des collections, Muséum national d’histoire naturelle, Paris) and the CIRVA (Centre international de recherche sur le verre et les arts plastiques, Marseille). These works are on display at the Foundation of the Ricard Organization (Paris), the Centre Pompidou (Paris), the Palais de Tokya (Paris), the Foundation Nomas (Rome), and at Peter Freeman Galerie (New York).
