For the series "Sunflower", Dove Allouche worked in complete darkness, as our ancestors did in Paleolithic grottos. He sprinkles silver and tin on large Cibachrome leaves, sweeping the surface back and forth prior to exposing it to light. He thus reveals the glow remaining on the object.
In a special box, limited edition Ave Maria, l'image cachée is composed of 8 different serigraphy coated by scratch off ink. Those panels - that we can't distinguish - are complementary each by others and when they are together, they re-create a class photography made in july 1942 at Ave Maria school in Paris.
This edition is packed in a grey cardboard box along with an original drawing and a certificate of authenticity. The editions are numbered and signed by the artist with a copy of the book Point Triple, which is numbered and signed as well.
